Lehigh Cricket Club easily defeated Warriors Cricket Club yesterday at the Tamarac Recreational park in Fort Lauderdale. Warriors who was asked to take first strike posted 140 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Anil Janglee top scored for Warriors with a boundary studded 73.
In reply Lehigh recovered from the lost of two early wickets over the total with 1.3 overs remaining. Varendra Jamwant top scored for Lehigh Cicket Club with an even 50*.
Lehigh who have started the season with four consecutive losses have bounced back in the second half of the tournament and is now in the 4th position in the division one standing. The will host Warriors who finished 5th in the quarterfinal on August 20th.
