Kevin Century Keeps Hustlers Undefeated…

Kevin Budhna century today at Joseph Carter Park ensure Hustlers remain undefeated after the 5th round of the SFSCL fall season championship.  United won the toss and opted to take first strike on a lightning fast outfield at Carter Park. United went on to post a respectable 183/6 in their allotted 25 overs with Martin Jandoo top scoring 73 and Philip Meikle supported well with a solid 59.

Anil Bhawani was the most successful bowler for the Hustlers with 2/41. Trevor Persaud was the most economical of the bowlers with figures of 5-0-17-0.

In reply to United total of 183, Hustlers got off to a poor start loosing their first wicket with only six runs on the board; However, the informed Kevin Budhna did not let that early loss bother him as he continued from where he left off last week driving and pulling to the boundaries at will.  Hustlers achieved the target with five overs remaining. Kevin remain not out at the end on 110 and he was well supported by Ramnarine Chattergoon 19 and  Vishnu Narine a unbeaten 20.

Faron Persaud was the most successful bowlers for United with 2/26.
