RE: 2022 Florida Cup – 16th Edition
Dear Softball Cricket Organizations:
The South Florida Softball Cricket League and the Florida Cup Committee are honored to extend an invitation to all softball cricket leagues and teams to participate in the 2022 Florida Cup. The tournament is scheduled to hosted here in beautiful South Florida on March 31st, April 1st and 2nd of 2022.
The games will take place at three different locations. Brian Piccolo Park, Cooper City, FL, Miramar Regional Park, Miramar, FL and Central Broward Park & Stadium, Sunrise, FL on Thursday March 31st, April 1st and Saturday April 2nd.
The finals on Saturday will be at Brian Piccolo Park.
We are anticipating a large number of teams to partake in this year’s tournament and thus team’s acceptance will be on a First come First serve basis.
There will be a registration fee for teams to participate in the tournament. The fees will cover facility costs, food/refreshments and prizes.
There will be THREE Categories for the 2022 FL Cup:
- All Star Open (any age group)
- Master (40 yrs. and over. No exceptions)
- Legends (50 yrs. and over. ONE (1) player 49 years of age will be allowed)
Below are the Registration Fees per team, per category.
- All-Star Open Teams – $1200.00
- Masters Teams – $1100.00
- Legends Teams – $1000.00
Note: A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot in the tournament.
The FORMAT will be as follows:
- All-Star Open – Eight (8) teams – 20 overs format
- Masters – Eight (8) teams – 20 overs format
- Legends – Six (6) teams– 20 overs format
They will be CASH Incentives and Trophies in all three Categories:
- All Star winner $4000.00*
- Masters winner $3000.00*
- Legends winner $2000.00*

The registration period will open immediately and closed February 28th, 2022. As stated above, a 50% deposit is required to secure your spot in the tournament.

Registered teams will have until March 20th, 2022 to submit their player rosters. Final changes will be allowed at the pre-tournament meeting.
The Playing Guidelines will be made available to all teams ahead of the tournaments.
Covid precautions will be in place.
