Berbice Handed Lightning Their Second Consecutive Loss

Berbice handed Lightning their second consecutive loss yesterday at Tamarac Recreational Park. After winning the toss and opted to take first strike Lightning batsmen found it very difficult to keep the scoreboard ticking as Berbice bowlers keep a tidy line and length. Lightning was eventually bowled out for 93 in the 18th over.

In reply to Lightning below-par score Berbice batsmen also had some difficulty scoring freely as the lost a few early wickets at the top of the order, however, their middle order led by Joey Raghunandan unbeaten 43 saw them home in the 17th over.
